Schedule 40 PVC Venting Pipes (Solid Core)
Ensure the safe and efficient exhaust of combustion gases and waste ventilation with our commercial-grade Schedule 40 PVC Venting Pipes. Engineered specifically for low-temperature flue gas venting and plumbing drain-waste-vent (DWV) applications, these high-impact rigid PVC pipes provide a corrosion-proof, airtight pathway for residential and commercial systems.
Designed to withstand continuous vacuum and positive pressure, this solid-core piping resists chemical degradation, scaling, and environmental pitting, making it the industry standard for high-efficiency appliance exhaust.

Key Features & Benefits
  • High-Efficiency Flue Gas Venting: Ideal for category IV high-efficiency furnaces, tankless water heaters, and boilers that produce low-temperature, condensing flue gases.
  • Flawless Interior Flow: Smooth interior wall finish minimizes friction loss, prevents scale buildup, and ensures the rapid, unrestricted flow of exhaust and air.
  • Corrosion & Chemical Proof: Complete immunity to electrochemical degradation, acidic flue condensates, and aggressive household chemical wastes.
  • Rigid Solid-Core Strength: Manufactured with a dense, solid-wall formulation that provides superior structural crush resistance compared to cellular-core alternatives.
  • Simple Solvent Weld Assembly: Cuts quickly with standard pipe cutters and creates a permanent, leak-proof structural bond when paired with PVC primer and solvent cement.

Approved Applications
Engineered to meet modern building codes across multiple ventilation and exhaust setups:
  • Appliance Venting: Flue gas exhaust and fresh-air intake lines for condensing furnaces and water heaters.
  • Plumbing DWV: Drain, Waste, and Vent vertical stacks and roof penetrations.
  • Radon Mitigation: Sub-slab depressurization lines to vent hazardous radon gas safely above the roofline.
  • HVAC Condensate: High-capacity drainage and exhaust lines for commercial air conditioning systems.

Technical Specifications
  • Material: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Compound (ASTM D1784 Class 12454)
  • Wall Rating: Schedule 40 Solid Wall (Non-Cellular)
  • Compliance Standards: ASTM D1785 (Pressure/Dimensions), ASTM D2665 (DWV), and CSA B181.2 certified.
  • Max Temperature Threshold: Continuous operation up to 140°F (60°C).
  • Safety Notice: Never use compressed air or gas to test PVC pipelines. Do not use for high-temperature exhaust exceeding 140°F.

Quick Professional Installation Guide
  1. Square Cut: Cut the pipe square using a wheel cutter or fine-tooth saw to ensure maximum joint depth.
  2. Deburr: Remove all internal and external burrs, shavings, and sharp edges with a chamfering tool.
  3. Clean & Prime: Wipe away dirt and apply a generous coat of purple PVC primer to both the pipe exterior and the inside of the female fitting.
  4. Solvent Weld: Apply an even layer of medium-body PVC cement, push the pipe firmly into the fitting with a quarter-turn twist, and hold tightly for 30 seconds until the initial bond sets.
