Quick Solvent Weld Guide
  1. Prep: Ensure the matching pipe ends are cut perfectly square and completely deburred.
  2. Prime: Apply a thorough layer of purple PVC primer to the outer pipe ends and the inner sockets of the 22.5-degree elbow.
  3. Glue: Coat both primed areas with an even layer of medium-body PVC solvent cement.
  4. Weld: Push the pipe firmly into the elbow socket, give it a quick quarter-turn twist to spread the cement, and hold tightly for 30 seconds until the initial bond sets.
